Senior Agile Business Analyst

We currently have offices in Sheffield (our HQ), Leeds & Manchester, however, a lot of
us work remotely. We prefer for everyone to work however is best for them – all we ask
is that people go into the office a few times a month and for team / client meetings when
required.
Who you are:
As we grow, we are looking for brilliant Agile Business Analysts to join our existing
teams. We are looking for people with Senior level experience (SFIA level 4).
You will be passionate about your craft and have experience in delivering business
value through software solutions, following a the full SDLC lifecycle. We’re proud of our
collaborative Product & Design capability that consists of Agile Business Analysts,
Product Managers and User Centred Designers and would love for you to be a part of
it.
Due to the nature of our clients, we can be flexible with different backgrounds /
experience and technologies, but we are looking for:
- Experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role in an agile
development environment, working directly with a multidisciplinary team
throughout the SDLC. - Ability to analyse business and technical domains. Specifically business intelligence data, user feedback, people, processes and data flows.
- User journey mapping to ensure a holistic view of the product
- Eliciting and writing Epics and User Stories using INVEST principles with
agreed acceptance criteria - Backlog management & prioritisation. Creation of initial backlog and ongoing
refinement & prioritisation based on value, cost and risk - Facilitation of product demos and User Acceptance Testing of features.
- Data driven decision making. Ability to use data analytics to validate
assumptions, measure product success and iterate on features. - Stakeholder management and effective communication skills.
- Workshop facilitation with business stakeholders, users and technical team
members.
Useful, but not necessary:
- Product Roadmap creation, maintenance and communication
- Collaboration with other BAs and POs within a larger Product team
- Experience in agile delivery roles such as Scrum Master
- Previous consultancy or contractor experience
Responsibilities:
- Simplifying requirements, so they are easily understood across the whole team
- Leadership skills
- Strategic thinking – (strong understanding of why projects are being done)
- Ability to ask tough questions and push back professionally and creatively
- Deployed on new projects in a variety of industries
- Assess context and make recommendation to best serve the needs of a project
- Contribute to Nimbles’ wider Product & Design Capability
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to influence others to ensure the success of the organisation and
projects - Confident at presenting at the senior executive level
